We offer Reformer Pilates, Traditional Mat Pilates and Infrared heated 'sweat & sculpt' Pilates.
What is Reformer Pilates? A dynamic resistance-based workout using a reformer machine to improve posture, build strength and enhance body alignment.
What is Infrared ‘Sweat and Sculpt’? A fiery full-body but low-impact class in an infrared heated studio to boost circulation, detoxify, and sculpt lean muscle. We combine Pilates-inspired movement with the use of equipment Pilates balls, bands and ankle weights.
What is Traditional Mat Pilates? A floor-based method rooted in classical Pilates, focusing on breath, control, and core strength without the use of machines.
The machine consists of a moving carriage, springs for different resistances, straps and a foot-bar. This method will allow your muscles to work through a fuller range of movement, assist or challenge the body in many ways and add versatility to each session.
At Cult Pilates we invite all abilities, age groups and genders to take part. We offer classes specifically designed for beginners, pre/post-natal women and mixed abilities. These can be found on our schedule.
Absolutely! We invite all levels of strength and fitness to join our classes. If you are new to exercise, we recommend you join our beginners' course/classes to familiarise yourself with the machine and different movement patterns.
Comfortable and clean gym attire. Something you can easily move around in however nothing too loose in case of catching on the machine. You will be asked to remove your shoes.
Unfortunately not. We recommend grip socks. They can be purchased at the studio.
Our classes hold up to 8 individuals. These small groups allow for individualised attention by our experienced instructors during each class.
We have lockers, a changing area and toilets (we currently do not have any showers). We also have access to a lift.
We currently do not offer memberships. Please see our price list and package options here.
Yes. We are located on Loughton High Road where there is pay and display spaces and car parks. There is also free parking on Brooke Road, Station Road and other roads off of the high road. Please check signs.
We operate a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. You can cancel any time before this period with no charge.
We advise that everyone arrives 5-10 minutes before class start time. Beginners must arrive early for their introduction. For the safety and enjoyment of our clients we do not tolerate lateness and therefore you will not be admitted to class.
